Scientists restore the brain's disposal system to counteract aging

In a new study, scientists from the University of Rochester Medical Center have shown that it is possible to reverse the age-related decline in the brain's ability to eliminate harmful waste products. This process could have significant effects on the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
