How Strength Training Can Slow Brain Aging and Protect Against Alzheimer's Disease

44 people with mild cognitive impairment took part in the study. After six months, participants who had completed weight training showed improvements in memory and brain structure, while participants who had not done weight training had a worsening of the assessed parameters.
