New target molecule for Alzheimer's discovered

Researchers from the universities of Leeds and Lancaster have identified a new potential target molecule for Alzheimer's disease. Their study in mice shows that reducing the activity of the enzyme PDE4B protects against Alzheimer's and could be a useful treatment approach.
