How does MavieMe ensure medical accuracy and quality assurance in blood and stool analyses?
For our blood tests, we use the method of capillary blood collection by finger pricking using BD contact lancets and microtainers. Liquid blood tests provide greater accuracy than dried blood or rapid tests used by many of our competitors. Our laboratories are accredited according to ISO 15189 and are among the leading providers of capillary blood analyses in Europe. The methods used were carefully validated against venous blood analysis. Strict standards and comprehensive quality controls guarantee precise and reliable results at all times. For our microbiome test, we rely on high-precision analysis using state-of-the-art DNA sequencing, which is carried out in one of our accredited laboratories. In a four-stage process, the bacterial DNA is extracted from a stool sample, a specific DNA segment is multiplied, deciphered and then compared with databases.
