Anti-aging treatments are about to become commercially available. However, there is still an urgent need for standardized, clinically validated tools to accurately measure the aging process and quantitatively assess the effects of measures to prolong health and life in humans. As this area continues to advance and grow, setting such standards is critical to advance our understanding and ensure the success of future innovations.
